Rina Nuitari (Senju)

Rina can easily be classified as an individual whom skips to her own beat, the slider doe eyed brunette carries herself as if she where to be something more then meets the eye. Only standing five foot the female always keeps her shoulders back and her chin up, one could say a look of pride always flickers within the majestic green eyes of this young girl. Her soft silky locks always fall perfectly down to the middle of her back, her angled bangs swoop across her left eye but not enough to impair her keen vision. Clearly Rina takes pride in her appearance, always making sure her smooth ivory skin gives off that glow of nourishment and classlessness.


Rinas sense of style it seems to vary from one end of the spectrum to another depending on her awakening. On the days Rinas mind falls into a darker realm and her dreams are haunted by a man in a field of blood she tends to dress more so on the more concealed side of things. Starting from her toes she sports her black ninja shoes, her black pants fitting tightly against her legs, a simple red tank top to cover her torso, accompanied by a fishnet shirt, and a black jacket. On a more peaceful day Rina enjoys wearing a red and black kimono, though it only runs a few inches down her legs she always has her black spandex on as though to make it more suitable for fighting conditions...She fairs quite well regardless of what she has on, after all she is bright enough to realize what could possibly restrict her movement.

Despite her varying days Rina is almost never found with out a select few positions. Around her small neck there is always a choker, made of black velvet it clasps firmly around her throat on it is places a silver moon pendent with a small bell dangling from the tip...The ball inside is removed making it mute never to ring again. In her flowing hair a black silk ribbon is always ties firmly into place, to her it has some symbolic meaning one in which she doesn't seem keen to revile to anyone whom asks her of its seemingly meaningless purpose. And lastly there's a moon shaped ring the always wears on her left thumb, within it lies poisonous pills...ones she would take if ever caught.

Rina is a very complex individual, her way of thinking is somewhat on the stranger level of things one could say. On a normal day Rina tends to keep to herself, keeping to the shadows of her twin brother, though she always kept a rather proud outlook about her. Standing straight, her chin up, and everything neat as a pin. If one were to speak to her on such day she would normally gift them with a small sort of node , It was her silent way of saying “I have noticed your existent but please leave me be.”. If her silent message was not received the female tends to allow a short conversation though her responses are short and rather on the cold side, but her naturally sweet soft spoken voice tends to mask such things.

To those she is not close to Rina tends to gives them the cold shoulder, her eyes normally never meet there’s and if they do they become locked in a dark glare…she hates strangers. If Rina sees someone staring at her she tends to brush it off, but if they don’t stop after a moment or so she will make sure they stop……either using a stern word or two, a glare or even a slash across the face….She is a bit of a short tempered girl with people that make her uncomfortable . One could blame it on her over powering shyness of others...or maybe she really does just have a nasty side.

Yet Rina does have another side to her, she has a very big heart for those who are willing to take the time to get to know her and accept the fact she is not exactly the most open of books. People can find she is normal just slightly disturbed from her dreams and extremely finicky, but instead of seeming shy she just comes across as violent, and rather unlikeable.

But those that do except her and take the time be brake past her hard shell she is very sweet….Rina will die to protect what she holds close……she lets the few people who care see her smile….when she smiles its almost something magical, the way her soft pink lips curve perfectly and her teeth aline. She has a way to work her way into the hearts of those whom know her, she never pushes away...she simply never pulls anyone close.

The Senju clan is descended from the younger of the two sons of the Sage of the Six Paths who was born with the "body" of the Sage, inheriting his father's strength of will and physical energy and believed that love was the key to bringing peace to the world. The Sage grew to favour the ideals of his younger son over those of his older son, who believed that power alone was the true key to finding peace. Therefore, on his deathbed it was the younger of the two brothers that the Sage chose to name as his successor. The elder brother, bitter and hateful at having being denied what he felt was rightfully his to inherit, attacked his younger sibling. The Uchiha clan would descend from the elder brother, resulting in the bitter centuries-long rivalry between the Senju and the Uchiha.[2]

The Senju clan gained their fame in the era before the founding of the hidden villages. Where other clans focused on mastering one particular skill, the Senju were masters in all skills, from ninjutsu, to taijutsu, to genjutsu. Because of this, they were feared as "the clan with a thousand skills" (「千の手を持つ一族」, "sen no te o motsu ichizoku"), which gave them their name Senju (千手, "a thousand skills", "a thousand hands").
The most famous member of the clan was their leader, Hashirama Senju. His unique Wood Release ninjutsu even gave the clan the nickname the Senju clan of the forest (森の千手一族, Mori no Senju Ichizoku). This Wood Release, and his ability to control the tailed beasts, made him the greatest shinobi of his time.

The Senju's place at the top of the shinobi world was undisputed, but there was one clan that was able to stand up to them: the Uchiha clan. Whenever one country hired the Senju, their enemies would hire the Uchiha, and vice versa. This led to a rivalry between the two clans and, more specifically, between the leaders of the clans, Hashirama and Madara Uchiha.

However, in a world of constant bloodshed, Hashirama had a dream of peace, and a great love for his fellow men. Known as the "Will of Fire" (火の意志, "Hi no Ishi"), this belief made the Senju clan propose a truce to the Uchiha clan. Weary of fighting, and persuaded by Hashirama's great charisma and negotiation skill, the Uchiha accepted, ending their bloody rivalry. Only Madara was against this truce, believing the Senju would one day destroy the Uchiha clan. He was forced to accept, but his humiliation wouldn't end there.
Some time after the alliance between the Senju and the Uchiha was signed, the Land of Fire hired them to stabilise its borders, and the clans created a permanent settlement within the country. Thus, Konohagakure was founded, and, with it, the system of one Hidden Village per country. As the system spread throughout the world, the constant violence stopped, and Hashirama's dream began to become a reality. But it would soon start again after Hashirama was elected as the First Hokage; a move Madara felt was a humiliation and made him decide to leave the new village, eventually returning to attack it.

Throughout the years, the Senju retained their supremacy over Konoha, and made the village into what it is today. After the First Hokage's death, his younger brother, Tobirama Senju, stepped up to become the Second Hokage. Although likely not a Senju by blood, Hiruzen Sarutobi, who would become the Third Hokage after the Second's death, was trained by both the First and Second. His successor, Minato Namikaze, was the student of Jiraiya, who was a student of the Third. Tsunade, the Fifth Hokage, was not only a student of the Third, but also the granddaughter of the First and the grandniece of the Second. All of them strongly held to the Will of Fire philosophy.
It is unknown if the Senju clan still exists as an organisation since there are no known persons with the Senju name alive, although the Fifth Hokage, Tsunade, might have the Senju surname. It is very possible that the Senju clan disbanded into smaller clans and families, especially since they never had specific traits or techniques like the Uchiha or Hyūga clans with which to easily identify them. Their legacy however, lives on strongly in the hearts of the people of Konoha.
