The Tide of War

Pain stood upon a mountain a treacherous mountain that was hard to climb but with the use of his signature technique the space time jutsu Kamui Pain was able to get his job done. To be at the peak of the tallest mountain in the ninja world. He awaited a battle his Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan was activated it had the look of Kamui when he smirled the smirking pattern of his Mangekyo Sharingan seemed to put the enemy in a instant genjutsu from the spiraling effect. Like all Sharingan eyes his spiral of his Mangekyo was black with a red eye he had no pupil as his Mangekyo was activated his pupil was both of the swirls the pupil had grew effectively making his visual prowess greater. Inside of Pain lay his prize possession one of the great ninja tools of the Sage of Six Oaths or Hagaromi Otsutsuki. It was the Great Palm Fan Bashosen. The fan was red at the top white in the middle and red at the bottom. Pain by using the power of a god could unleash the elements from the fan as well as use it as a shield. He wore his cloak his prized Uchiha clan head cloak. It was a kimono in a way a dark red kimono that was black on the inside with the belt being black as well. His sandals were black seeming to take in the shadows. On Pains back was his gourd filled with iron. Iron that was demolished into tiny Microscopic pieces like sand. The gourd was red just like his clothing making it match everything he had on. Not to top that the iron sand was black. He smirked as he pulled his extension out of his Kamui dimension or as he called it Samehada. His favorite ninja tool. The sword was a living thing with scales that could cut through the body in a instant it had a mouth where Pain could store things inside. He felt his chakra leaving him as he wielded Samehada. The blade seemed to gleam in the darkness it's purple scales reflecting the Moon's light the sword often making a growling noise. Pain put the sword back in the Kamui dimension and turned to his left on his side was his Deva Path a man that had the eyes of the Rikudo Sannin which were the Rinnegan. The Rinnegan had the Deva Path's eyes purple with a hint of grey and black circles around the eye ball like a infinite genjutsu repeating like a loop in time and space. The Rinnegan was a powerful doujutsu only able to be obtained by combining the cells of Indra and Asura making them into one into Hagaromo Otsustuki cells the cells of a god. The path wore a Kimono that was black with red clouds on it the clouds symbolically representing the blood spilled in all the battles of this world. He then remembered he still had his mask on it was a red mask that covered his whole face the back of the mask covered half of the back of his head. The mask was unique it was like the Sharingan but with the lines of the Rinnegan it had 3 tomoe on the face part of the mask. 2 of the tomoe were used as eyes holes while the other sat their. The mask was red. Pain turned back to his front with his visual prowess he saw the land beyond him the battle field thinking of a battle field his friend popped in his head. The Bijuu Kokou the Five Tails she was as large as a skyscraper. She looked like a mix between a horse and dolphin with white fur. She had four horns on her head all tipped with a dull yellow color. It seemed she was in a constant sage mode by the red circles around her eyes. Pain took his thought away moving his neck a little hearing it cracked. He then said " let the battle begin ".

It was the great land known as iceberg that held the largest mountain. The question that ran through most people's minds had been, 'Was it really a mountain, or a large ice berg that continued to grow over the passing years?' no one knew the answer and no one was allowed to see for themselves. The leader of the Iceberg village outlawed it and set death as its penalty. This young tyrant was to be the ruler of the world through his own means. But not a soul knew of this. Though his soul was never tainted by the darkness the world carried it had been as white as his hair. A young Kage at his age was expected to become corrupted in the passing years. Near was not one to carry on the traditions of the ninjas, as seen through his clothing. He wore a white shirt that seemed to be loose on him, and his pants and shoes were a black color. Parts of them stained with blood of those who fought against his village. Today had been the end of a long war of the world and there was one person to be dealt with. As Near made his way to the top of the mountain his swift hand movement would cause for the fall of rain. The world would cry as the boy who cried would appear at the top of the mountain. Jumping up he would hit the ground and crotch down. His eyes would quickly analyze the man who stood in front of him as his enemy. "Let the games begin." He would say to mock the words stated by the man seconds before his arrival. His face wore no expression and his body made no movement. His pale skin would seem to freeze from the freezing rain that fell.

Pain would stare at the man who had the blood stained clothes on it seemed he had just gotten out of battle and had sensed Pain up above at the top of the largest mountain in sight. The man was crouched down saying let something begin but Pain could not hear him from the howling wind that continuously blew and the hail that had started to fall as the man arrived. He wondered was the man in front of him an embodiment of death. Pain smirked he turned a little not even the man would see him turn. His Uchiha cloak had fallen off of him he jumped back away from the cloak 5 ft away from it yo be exact. However the man was 15 ft way from Pain. Pain's Deva Path stood on the left side of the cloak staring the man down. His Mangekyo would spin like a tornado a tornado that unleashed death so quickly just like Pain himself. He would only activate his ultimate technique the Rinnegan when deemed necessary. A large sword would shoot out of his eye so quick that even the man in front of him could not see it shoot out. Pain would then stare right into the man's as well as pointing his index finger that was on his right hand at the man." You there your clothes are stained with blood meaning you just came from the large battle below. You must've sensed my chakra to know one like my self was up here now let our battle begin " said Pain as he put down his right hand his sword Samehada was in his left hand then he switched it to is dominant hand his right hand. " Amaterasu " Pain would scream as a black flame came out of his right eye going straight for the man. But the strong wind seemed to waver the attack making it slant up going straight into the sky beyond the clouds. Oh well Pain thought as he crouched down one hand holding his sword. He ran towards the man when he got 3 ft in front of the man he would slide with his right leg going out and his left leg going back. His sword in the air attempting to slice the man in half as he was sliding. Simultaneously while he sliding his path would run and jump over the man's head as he was over the man's head he would shoot two black chakra rods out his right and left hand both going to the right and left feet of the man. The path would land while Pain was still sliding.

Near was not one to be taken so lightly. The fights that occurred at the bottom of the mountain was a simple warm up to him. As he was now ready for something real to occur. He would start to draw pictures in the snow on the ground and ignore the hail that fell to the ground. Couldn't he of just ended this fight with a simple flicker of the body. He would try but he would not be so quick to end the fight. His distance was, as of now, a few 2 meters from his new friend and a great distance from the mans weapon. 'Attacking without hesitating.' Near would think to himself. As he should have began a row of hand signs that would cause his power to florish. Should he, the power would activate another and a riple affect would occur. A blue aura would appear and cover his whole body creating his susano'o and bringing about his great sword. "Die.." He'd utter as the sword took a course to cut the man in the air in half.

Near would Stand behind the man, half of his body looking at the man, as he pointed in the direction of Near's old position. Though it would seem as though Near was moving at a speed like none other, as if there had been two of him. Water began to drip from that body created between the passing seconds. Near's original body would walk away from the man with the mangekyou activated, his faux body reached for the man's 'pet' that followed him trying to encase him in water. "Knowing Amaterasu is a great feat my friend." Near stated. Had the man continued his acts Near would jump 3 meters into the sky and take in a large gulp of air. His swift handsigns would create a large blast of wind which would cover the gap between the man and his minions. With his Shield ready, Near would use it to stop any attacks that came his way. A shield that took on the power of the black flames.

Pain could have predicted the attacks with his Sharigan making his opponents attacks mealiness. His eyes could began to form a new color, both of his eye balls had turned a purlple color that faded into gray, both of the eyeballs had black ripple like patterns on them with one pupil the new doujutsu that took apon Pain's eyes were the Rinnegan the ultimate technique of the sage of six paths. Pain could have ran to the man with Samehada in hand seeing various thunder clouds forming turning the hail into thick rain that stung when it hit anyone. Running straight towards the man Pain could have ran threw the man's body and turn around facing the back the man's head with his sword to the man's neck saying " surrender ".

But instead Pain would go toward the man that was real the original person. His sword had asorb the wind of the jutsu the man had casted and was put inside of Pain's eye his right eye. Pain's Sharingan had formed into the newly obtained Rinnegan of the Sage of Six Paths. He would began to see powerful thunder clouds forming from the Amaterasu he had casted at the man but instead went into the sky. This was the perfect chance for him to perform the fasted technique this world had seen the lighting technique known as Kirin. Pain would do the handseals for Kirin so fast that from the man and his clone point of view Pain did not even move his hands. A lion with a see through blue cloak came from the thunder clouds running straight towards the man. Pain would stare at the man's body his Rinnegan spinning which it rarely did unless he was going to perform one of his ultimate techniques but instead he had performed two making his Rinnegan spin so fast it seemed to come out of his eye sockets. Pain's Susano'o skeleton ribs would cover his body from the shock wave of the Kirin that would hit the man he faced.


During the battle between Pain and the man Pain's Deva Path with his orange hair and Rinnegan eyes would run towards the man's clone that was leaking water. That clone was a water clone. The path would whisper " Universal Pull " making the clone come straight to the path while the path was running. As the path was running he could have dived forward with his hands stretched. He would stop in his tracks and when the clone came in front of him in arm's reach he would have a chakra rod in both hands both of them out forward stabbing the Cline through both of its shoulder's

Near would finally land on the ground as his attack would disappear from the field. Near would not hesitate to activate his Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan. His eyes would begin to swirl in a rapid motion as he would watch things unfold on the field. The first of many things had to deal with his own creation. The clone of himself that fought with one of the boys paths. The path had been one of the strongest in history that dealt with the powers of gravity, pushing and pulling. Its eyes would bare that dreaded eye doujutsu that many would reach for and would lose the sense they once had once it had been gained. His powers to pull the enemy toward him were quickly activated as it would take Near's clone and send him flying in the path's direction. But they had been a good distance away for a counter attack.

The Water clone would have succeeded in trapping the enemy in the Orb of water. Near's thoughts would race as he noticed this. Successfully trapping the man in the orb he would unleash five water sharks into the orb to rip the body into shreads. Two would aim for the paths arms, two for his legs, and one for his head. But his imprisonment was not enough to stop the powers of the path. The focus point of the pull technique, being the clone, would simply force the clone closer to the orb, as his arm was already the orb itself. This would cause the orb to disperse after the attack had finished.

On the other end of the spectrum were the two who started out strong. As Near's thought process ended, the shield that appeared on his arms would grow, its orange aura would fill the area quickly to create Susano'o, it had no full form at the time, but it had been a defense mechanism as the man launched his attack on Near. But as this occurred Near would have his jutsu set to launch against his new enemy at any point of the fight. His Susano'o would help him take on the tiger in the sky head on, with damage. The Ice on the mountain would also be affected as the large explosion would cause a shockwave that would take out Near's clone as well. After so Near would stand on his feet and begin his assault, the jutsu would fade "Watch my hands boy" Near would say as he made the ten hand signs, awaiting the boy to attack, his eyes looking deep into the man's eyes as their battle continued.

Pain could have looked back into the man's eyes but he chose not to feeling the man staring at him during the sequence of performing 10 hand seals. He would go into a full body Susano'o performing the three necessary handseals required for the jutsu he would use. It would take a minute for the giant meteor to arrive to it's destination right where Pain stood. The meteor would have a 500 meter diameter digging 100 meters into the ground. As soon as the first meteor would hit the second would instantly come after it this jutsu was meant to be a finishing jutsu and that was what exactly Pain was going to use it for to finish his opponent. After performing the hand seals Pain's full body Susano'o would cut off and he would appear 10 meters in front of the man. The dust from the Susano'o covered up Pain as he should have created 2 shadow clones that would run up to the man one with chidori active the other with Rasengan active. Pain would began activate his golden cloak of bijuh mode blue and red chakra orbs began to appear and mold together creating a black ball a bijuu bomb was what it was called. Pain would shoot the bomb straight at the man going at a speed so quick you could barely see the ball.
